The 2017 Ford Fusion isn’t the same, boring family sedan you remember. Since its first year in 2006, the Fusion has seen a few full redesigns and quite a few smaller updates. The most recent was a complete redesign in 2013, but Ford has continued to update the technology and design since. Sean Thies, a Sales Consultant at Baxter Ford South, walks through both the exterior and interior of the 2017 Ford Fusion.
2017 Ford Fusion Exterior
On the outside, the headlights, tail lights and front fascia saw updates. The lines on the hood help with the more aggressive look, plus they offer added benefits to the vehicle’s fuel efficiency. The side mirrors also have an impact on the aerodynamics of the 2017 Ford Fusion. That’s why they’re angled toward the back of the car; to help with fuel efficiency.
2017 Ford Fusion Interior
The Fusion offers plenty of interior space. Sean, our 6-foot-tall sales consultant, had no problem fitting comfortably into the back seat when the front seat had been set for a 6-foot-tall driver. Ford’s Sync3 infotainment system is also intuitive and well designed. It’s an easy system to plug your phone into, change climate control settings or navigate to your next destination.
