The 2017 Midlands International Auto Show kicked off last Thursday and ran through the weekend. The CenturyLink center in Omaha was decked out with hundreds of cars. The Baxter Auto Marketing team spent a few days looking around at all the auto show had to offer.

The event showed off quite a few exhibits with brands from the Baxter Auto family. Those included Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Fiat, Toyota, Ford, Honda, Volkswagen, Subaru, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, INFINITI and Audi.

Among the new and old cars, trucks and SUVs on display, visitors could check out a few 2018 prototypes.

2018 Audi Q5

Visitors could check out the vehicle expected to come out this March. The 2018 Audi Q5 on display at the show was even at our Audi Omaha dealership for a few days before the auto show. Take a look at some of the pictures we got of the newest Audi crossover SUV.

Ford

Ford also showed off two new 2018 vehicles. Both were debuted at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show, but visitors of the 2017 Midlands International Auto Show could get an idea for what was changing and how the next model year vehicle would look.

2018 Ford F-150

Ford brought a 2018 Ford F-150 prototype.

The 2018 vehicle will feature a new look for the headlights and grille. The headlights look updated with LED lights outlining the upper and lower lights separately. The front grille takes some design features from Fords heavy duty family. Plus, the new truck also shows off a newly-embossed tailgate. The prototype in the middle of Ford’s exhibit and was decked out as the official truck of the NFL; just in time for Super Bowl LI.

2018 Ford Mustang

The new Mustang was hard to miss. Even among all the other, larger vehicles around it. The 2018 Mustang truly popped in a new 2018 color: Orange Fury Metallic Tri-Coat.

Some of the other changes visitors could see include a lowered hood and hood vents coming standard on all models. The 2018 model year is a silhouette that is unmistakably Mustang.
