The New York International Auto Show ended last Sunday.

The 10-day Auto Show brings together the newest and most stylish concepts by top car manufacturers. From a preview of the new Genesis luxury brand to different versions of the Impreza, there was plenty to talk about.

2017 Toyota Prius Prime

We loved Toyota’s preview of their new hybrid. This 2017 Prius Prime is set to replace the current Prius plug-in hybrid model.

With the bold styling and horizontal LED taillights, Toyota gave the Prius a new-generation look. The re-designed aluminum hood and carbon fiber hatch reduced the weight, making room for a larger and heavier battery. This Prius will get an estimated 120 MPGe in EV mode, boasting increased acceleration and performance from previous models.

The Prius Prime gained a lot of attention at the show and is scheduled for a fall release. That just leaves one question: what colors does it come in?

Hyundai Genesis Concept

Late last year, Hyundai announced the creation of Genesis, their own luxury brand. Since then, we’ve seen the release of the Hyundai Genesis and Equus models.

This “New York Concept” made an appearance at the Auto Show in New York. With  242 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, this sporty concept will be a strong competitor for the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes C-class.

Genesis plans to have a 6-model lineup by 2020. For 2017, the 2016 Hyundai Equus will be relaunched as the 2017 G90 and the 2016 Hyundai Genesis as the G80. The “New York Concept” will be known as the G70.

2017 Mazda MX-5 RF

This 2017 Mazda MX-5 RF convertible was unveiled at the New York Auto Show. And we’re excited about the new targa hardtop. The RF, or Retractable Fastback, Miata body style combines the targa top with the fastback roofline. The roof slides back at driving speeds of up to 6 mph, leaving a fastback roofline over the back of the car.

This concept captured our attention with the sleek, fast styling of our favorite Miata. This model is in pre-production and expected to land later this year. Don’t forget to pre-order yours!

2017 Audi R8 Spyder

We want to know what the engine sounds like on this R8 supercar, displayed at the New York Auto Show.  This supercar boasts a 5.2-liter V-10 engine with 520 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque.

But what about the 0 to 60? The R8 will accelerate to 62 mph in just 3.6 seconds. Some of that speed may be due to 80 percent of the spaceframe being made from aluminum, making it lighter than its older R8 counterparts.

This R8 Spyder promises to be powerful, and in that bold yellow we wouldn’t expect anything less.

2017 Subaru Impreza

Subaru brought two Impreza concepts to the Auto Show this year: the Impreza sedan and Impreza hatchback concept.

The silver hatchback concept promises a more spacious interior with 5-doors and wider body. This hatchback also has re-designed exterior styling.

Subaru is known for producing small cars, adopting a “wide and low” mantra. The Impreza will be the first model built on Subaru’s new Global Platform, eventually appearing on all new models. This platform improves driving dynamics for the consumer with improved crash energy absorption. It will also create consistency in production for all new Subaru models.

Are you more of a hatchback or sedan Subaru fanatic? Both of these models are scheduled to appear later in 2016.

2017 Infiniti QX70

This 2017 Infinti QX0 Limited made quite the entrance at the New York Auto Show. With a 325 horsepower 3.7-liter V-6 engine, this crossover SUV won’t disappoint any performance-seekers.

They’ve equipped it with cameras on all sides, so you’ll feel secure behind the wheel. Feel elegant inside and out with the dark interior and sleeker front design featuring new LED daytime running lights.

But most of all, we’re loving the new grille on the front of this QX70.
